If you have architectural columns placed in your model and you want to convert them to structural columns, you can do the following:
Go to the Create tab > Category and Parameters.
Change the Family Category from Columns to Structural Columns.
Reload the family back into the project.
Keep in mind that this will affect all columns of this family.
