Say you are troubleshooting 2 roofs, which appear identical in terms of instance and type properties. However one roof has an offset, yet the Element Properties > Base Offset From Level field lists both as 0'-0"?
For this scenario ensure to verify the sketch lines of the roof, which have an additional parameter for Plate Offset From Base.
To verify this edit the roof, and highlight one or all of the sketch lines. Right-click > Element Properties. Note the Plate Offset From Base dimension to verify if the roof is offset here.
