Have you seen the new Autodesk Revit blog Family Jewels?
It is a great new blog focused on creating Revit families. William Spier runs the site and provides a lot of great insights into Content for BIM. He also has pulled a number of industry experts into the blog so they can share their take on Families for Revit. The blog has a little bit of a Revit MEP feel, but we wont hold that against them :).
I'd encourage you to hop on over to Family Jewels and see what they are writing about.
