I wish you could disable the purge command for non admin users. Maybe require a password ?
Also, certain items should not be made available for purging, like interior elevations .... etc.

Does 'Purge' remove those pesky dead AutoCAD links that always seem to show up in Visibility/Graphics even after the AutoCAD file has been removed from Revit model? Or is that handled elsewhere???

Perhaps now it's time to add a "Purge nested items" like the AutoCAD purge command?

Uggh, the dreaded 'AutoCAD can, why can't Revit' comment... True though!!!!
