Based on my experience working as a CAD Manager in a couple of the largest MEP/FP Consulting Engineering firms in Boston, many are surprised to learn that I do not have a college degree. I started out in this industry working for an engineering firm in their plot room, generating hardcopy prints for outgoing projects. I passed the time by reading the AutoCAD 12 User Guide (not exactly a spine-tingling novel). Over time, I gained experience using and supporting AutoCAD and other software, including Revit, and was promoted to CAD Manager.
Today, I'm fortunate to be working on the Autodesk Product Support team, supporting AutoCAD MEP and Revit MEP. It is especially gratifying to be serving as a conduit between our customers and our development team, helping to capture the needs and request of customers who invest in our products.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and two daughters. We also like getting together with friends, just hanging out at bonfires and laughing up in the NH mountains, where we live. I'm a big fan of Boston sports teams, especially the Patriots and Celtics. I also enjoy playing basketball, softball, and other sports on the weekend with friends.
