Another Product Support Video Solution is available for viewing!
This time, I am discussing some tips and tricks for moving to the 2010 Revit Platform. I walkthrough the upgrade process and provide a little bit of information about starting fresh in Revit 2010.
Just in case you don't have access to Youtube. You can download the entire video from our Knowledge base by viewing the video solution Rolling out Revit. Let me know what you think.
This tutorial was very helpful in setting up our Revit 2010 transition plan. However, as an A/E firm we disagree with your process of removing linked models and individually upgrading each model when upgrading a project. We typically have extensive graphic overrides set up for linked models and when the link is completely removed, those graphic overrides need to be created again from scratch. This is a time-intensive process and we don't want to lose the work that has already been done. So we would upgrade each model and keep the links unloaded but not removed - which shows the "one time upgrade" warning but allows us to keep our VG overrides.
