Revit 2011 2 Mile Limit Now 20 Mile Limit

I did create a technical solution on this issue but want to put up a quick post to ensure no one misses it.  I have included the technical solution below for reference:

Revit 2011 products have expanded the ability to import or maintain geometric accuracy for distances up to 20 miles.  This time the boundary is maintained by a 20 mile cube similar to the above image.

For anyone familiar with Revit 2010’s dialog box you could not continue if you were attempting to import/link a file containing geometry over a 2 mile diameter.  While it is not recommended, you do now have the option to continue if importing / linking a file over 20 miles in size in Revit 2011.  You will receive the dialog box below:

In general this should allow for greater flexibility constructing linked files specifically those just over the previous 2 mile limit.
