Have you ever found that when editing existing text, sometimes the wrapping in the output changes unexpectedly?
The following screenshots depict what I mean:
By simply selecting the existing text to edit it - without even making any edits - the wrapping changes.
This will occur if the zoom scale is different than what it was when the text was first created. So to prevent the issue, make sure the zoom is comparable to the original scale. You might want to try to standardize by using a tool like Zoom Sheet Size on the Navigation Bar before editing.
If you do find yourself in the scenario above, you should be able to undo the change by either using the Undo button or zooming in/out closer to the original scale and editing the text again, as shown in the following video:
how to you fix this issue? i find this to be painful when doing spec sheets in revit... and everytime there is a edit... it goes crazy like this

Thanks! This problem has annoyed me for years and I never took the time finding a solution. Hopefully Autodesk will fix this soon.
